A Sugar Glider ia a small nocturnal marsupial (have pouches like kangaroos) animal native to Australia and Indonesia.
Appearances
It has a squrriel-like body.The males are larger than the females, and their length from nose to tip of the tail is about 24-30cm.It has a thick coat of fur that is ususally blue-grey some are yellow tan or ablino.A balck stripe is seen from its nose to the midway of its back.Its belly throat and chest is a cream colour.
Why is it named Sugar Glider?
The Wild Sugar Glider loves to eat something sweet like gum or sap typically from acacia trees, nectar and pollen, manna and honeydew and a large variety of insects and arachnids.It also loves to glide from tall places like a table or a tree branch in your backyard.
